Kin-spheres performance installation by Saara Hannula, Kaisa Kukkonen, Gesa Piper, Iiris Raipala and Terhi Rasilo approached the thematics of the eLTER Conference from an artistic and embodied point of view, weaving connections between scientific and embodied knowledge through bodily movement, sensing and relating.
eLTER facilitates collaborative, inter- and transdisciplinary science including biogeoscience, biodiversity research, and social ecology.
The performance installation has been worked out during the years 2024-2025 with understanding to the different life situations of each of us individually and all of the things that are affecting us in our lives. We worked with everything that is present in the space, everything that affects us and we let those entities, histories, thoughts, and life changes to push through the mutual care and listening skills. We created something that was true in that moment, at the eLTER conference in Tampere-talo in the crossroads of various realities and time cycles.
